Birthday Boy

Happy Birthday to this sweet bundle of energy. I can't believe that he was six years old yesterday. My how time flies!

We didn't get to see him yesterday but he and his brother came over after school today. They stay for dinner on Wednesdays and then we take them to church children's and youth activities.

Yesterday, on the phone, he requested spaghetti for dinner with chocolate pudding and real whipped cream for dessert.

Since we were celebrating his birthday he got to have his dessert before dinner. In the picture he looks a little stunned. I don't think he has ever had dessert before dinner. By the way, he also got another chocolate pudding for dessert after dinner.

I have been making this chocolate pudding for about 30 years and my family adores it. It tastes so much better than any mix that comes in a box and it is very easy.
