Thank you to all who have responded to my posts and even sent private emails about the problems involved in socializing our two kitties. They are getting along a tiny bit better or maybe they are just doing a better job of watching out for each other. Of course the humans are monitoring their movements more closely. Amelia, the Siamese still snarls sometimes and the other day Midnight actually almost took a swipe at her instead of running away.
We spend a lot of time trying to socialize them and telling them to be nice and assuring Amelia that she is Number One cat! At night Amelia sleeps in our bed and we keep the bedroom door closed. I refuse to be startled awake by a cat caterwauling again.
I wish I could have taken a picture recently when Midnight was in the garage, trying to come in through the cat door, and Amelia was on the inside batting the cat door back every time it swung in.
If I ever get a picture of the two of them together I will post it.

GOOD news about the cats getting along a little bit better.
ALL in time they will be best of friends. I shall look forward to a photo of them together.
Glad to hear that your two cats are adjusting to each other. Who knows, they may get so that they actually like one another before long.
