Studio Cats

Midnight came upstairs to visit in my Quilt Studio. She does not visit very often because Amelia intimidates her. The two cats are tolerating each other most of the time but Midnight still has not figured out that she is twice as big as Amelia and has claws!

As you can see here Amelia is very aware of the other cat's presence and does not like it.

Amelia keeps me company and sleeps most of the time I am working in the studio. Sometimes she patrols the top of the stairs just in cast Midnight wants to come up. Needless to say, Amelia was spoiled rotten and would like to keep it that way.

It's nice to have company isn't it? I had a cat named Jackson for 12 years but he died last year. We're waiting for a while before we get another and I might even get a dog this time, though my husband is still saying no. Midnight and Amelia will become friends yet! blessings, marlene

I hope they can learn to get along!

I wanted to answer your question about the whole egg under my tomato plants, but you have a no-reply instead of an email on your comments.

The egg is supposed to break down slowly, as the tomato grows, then when the roots need it, there will be a little pocket of yolk/white, providing sulphur... plus other stuff I can't remember. Then leave the shell in the dirt and eventually, it'll give up it's calcium too.

Since I left it out this year, I'll see if I notice any difference.
